Here it is -- BuzzSaw, Tessellating Star or any number of other names the block goes by. I had a lot of fun teasing the progress and quite of few of you guessed right away. Clever ladies, you bloggers are. I have 56 of these blocks now. The Lord willing and the creek don't rise, I will be able to post a photo of the top later this afternoon (sans borders) Posted by Picasa

Neat - I have seen that block a couple times laid out where 4 of the blocks are halfway into the borders! (I think I have a photo - if you want to see what I mean...)

Very nice - looking forward to seeing the whole top. I was tickled by the saying about the creek not rising - now that's something you'd never hear in this neck of the woods.

Never dawned on me what you were making! I even made one like this but with 4 sections! I love those colors and homespuns are always so nice!!
