Wouldn't it be just my luck? The rains this month have set new records in the state. Let me just say that it ain't been fun. So what does a girl do? Well, she could play with her food.I found a hidden Mickey in my lunch today.
Also I've spent some time in the tree house working on a little quilt top. Daisy had her first day in the tree house with me yesterday.
Looks like she's going to be a good helper. If only I could teach her to prep applique pieces, what a team we would make.

Don't you know that New Englander's thrive on the 10 day forecast? We have to know that something better is on it's way. 70's and 80's on it's way! Everyone is crabby, especially the students I work with, up here in the college that employs me. Easter break starts Thursday so hopefully they'll be in better moods when they get back.

OMG I love your Hidden Mickey! Daisy looks like a wonderful helper and maybe as she gets a little older she might learn to be an applique prepper...she looks like she could handle the job just fine.

Daisy has grown! I know it's only been a week or so, but I can see her growing!

I have a small pond in my yard. It wasn't there this morning but now it is. see a doctor tomorrow if you find any other Disney characters in your food. You've gone over the edge! LOL!!

The weather has been wierd everywhere. We had record snow falls in TX! Daisy looks like she will be a good companion for you in the tree house!

Not sure the lack of opposable thumbs can be overcome, but she makes a cute assistant nevertheless :)

Can't wait to see your finished quilt! Daisy just keeps getting cuter. Its stormy out here too, so its dreary wherever you are. Spring will be here soon!

I cannot believe this rain either. My husband went to work and called to tell me the road he takes is closed, so he goes down to the next one, closed, what a mess. I checked online and he will have to go past our exit and hit the next town up and come back down. We have never had this kind of flooding. Luckily I live in a dry area.

Well I never knew such a thing existed as a hidden Mickey! And Daisy is sooo adorable. I want to come cuddle and play with her!

oh man, you are being tested! I don't know but I think snow might be easier to take. Sweet Daisy may be the only 'sunshine' keeping you going. The post by McIrish Annie cracked me up :-)

Daisy looks like the sweetest little pup. I'll bet shes warming your heart on those cold rainy days. Cute Mickey Mouse too, you must be thinking of California sunshine. We're supposed to get a storm sometime today, and the winds are blowing hard. The past week has been beautiful though.
Blessings,
Marcia

I heard about all the rains up your way. We have had a wet spring, too but not as much as you have had. Sew, girl, sew!

Me again. I was thinking last night (when I couldn't sleep) that I had not gone back to look at your fork for the Secret Mickey. Living in Mickey Land, I had to check that out.

You are so quick to notice a Hidden Mickey! Very funny! Can't wait to get a look at this tree house. Did you build it to get away from flood waters?

She's quite the little quilt model, isn't she? Just like she was born to it.

Sorry about all the nasty weather. Maybe everything will be a whole lot greener when it does come up.
