Preparations for our first New England Easter are well under way. After the drenching rains earlier in the week, we are now enjoying some very unseasonably warm weather. That's just what the doctor ordered.
Hubby and I did something today that we have not done for a number of years - we dyed Easter eggs.
Does anyone know when they quit putting six color tabs in the Paas kits? Now there are only three. After a call of complaint to The Princess, she suggested that we just custom mix our own. Smart girl that Princess. The Easter Bunny will not be passing our house by this year.
Daisy is growing like a little weed . . . . or maybe like a dainty little flower. She is full of play and personality. Today she seemed just incredulous. See for yourself.
No one told her there is a vacuum cleaner upstairs, too. Sometimes life doesn't seem fair - even when you are a puppy.
Hope that everyone who celebrates has a wonderful Easter. Eat your fill of jelly beans and Peeps. I'm sure I heard somewhere that the calories don't count on Easter.

Incredulous perfectly describes her sad look, too funny! Your eggs look very pretty. We have not dyed eggs in years but have plenty of plastic ones!

Happy Easter--hope you have a warm and sunny day!

Happy Easter to you and yours Libby! I've always just taken the drip food coloring stuff and mixed for a variety of colors. Shame on me...no colored eggs here this year....plenty of chocolates though.

I don't know why, but our kit actually had 12. The 9 that were supposed to be there and then 3 extras.

Happy Easter. I'm glad you got Daisy. :)

Hugs,
Melinda

There were two sets this year, we almost bought the smaller one too. I noticed it as I was putting it in my cart. We colored eggs today too, but my kids were eating them almost as soon as they had them colored!
Have a wonderful Easter.
Blessings,
Marcia

Is that an old strainer that your Easter eggs are in? I don't know that I could have gotten my DH to play along and dye eggs. I was going to make some wool ones but ran out of time. Your colors are oh so pretty on the eggs.

Happy Easter to you, too! I got the 88 cent Paas box at Wally World. It had 6 tablets and stickers and the wire egg lifter thingy. The Wild One and I dyed eggs this year for the first time in many. I don't eat hard-boiled eggs so I don't care one way or the other if we do them or not but the kiddoes love them. A mother does what a mother has to do!

Funny about dogs and vacuums. Nelson is scared to death of it. Reagan would only notice it if it were food!
