Things sure have a way of getting bigger around here. Remember this little puppy hiding under the bed to get away from the vacuum?
She can't fit under there any more. But she can still try her best to avoid that dreaded machine.
My hexagon quilt is getting bigger, too.
I have been happily adding pieces to it each day. I sit at the dining room table which holds the top keeping me cool when the mercury and humidity rise. I think I'm about half-way to having a complete top. Now that my radio guys (and gals) are back on the air, I can quickly pass time listening to live streaming. Good times.

Little ones grow so quickly! She's definitely found a good home:)

Halfway through, fantastic! Glad your progress is so satisfying. We've had cloudy and cool all summer though it is supposed to heat up a bit now that it is mid August and time for kids to go back to school!

Isn't it great to do handwork while listening to something entertaining?!? I love that!

I can't believe how fast she grew.
I love that quilt and the colors.
Today I am reorganizing my stash and made it easier to find the good stuff. The rest is going in my basement room, so cleaning it and then I can put in a shelf to store the rest of the fabrics.

Your baby is getting so big. She is beautiful.

The quilt is looking great! Are you doing the piecing by hand? I love handwork, it is so relaxing. = ). Karen

Love the growing hexagons. Is that a pale olive in the sashing? It looks good!
And sweet lil Daisy :-) She looks so cuddly! Vacuums always stir such reactions.
I checked out your Radio Guys link and saw the video for the homecoming soldiers...someone showed me this at work the other day...made me cry. I had to watch it again and cry all over again. My favorite is the little girl that is talking to Santa and then sees her dad.

Nothing more relaxing than listening to your favorite radio (or tv) show and doing some hand work. I think this hexie quilt may be my most favorite of yours yet.

The colors in your hexagon quilt remind me of a quilt I slept under when I was a child. It had been my grandmother's, I think. It was so old, it finally fell apart. Yours is beautiful. Your pup is still a cutie!
Blessings,
Marcia

I love your hexagon quilt because it is so different. Daisy is so sweet looking with those woeful eyes that say "enough with that noisy machine, mom".

That is going to be one sweet quilt! Are you using some of the fabrics that you purchased at the Breakfast Club? They certainly would fit well! Cheers!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I see you are from California and it must be southern like me. I have gone to Juanitas many times but this time we went to eat in San Juan Capitrano. My husband was craving a lobster salad. Your puppy is so cute. Mine used to chase to vacuum. I also listen to tunes when I sew. I listen to XM radio. I love it because there are no commmercials! Have a great day!!
