We had a snow day - our first 'official snow day'! Could I have been a bit miffed that the call came in at 5 a.m. from Hubby's employer? I could have been . . . . but before I could get really worked up over it, I was opening my eyes and it was 7 o'clock, a snow day and
my birthday!
I don't know what time the snow started falling, but when we came downstairs the backyard was filling up.
Had to borrow the shovel from Frosty to help Hubby. I worked on the front steps and walk while he cleared the driveway. All the while the plows were going by again, and again and again.
Those are some pretty impressive walls of snow. I just cannot get over how high up it is compared to the bottom of the stop sign.
Daisy was out frolicking away, leaping through the drifts.
But that it exhausting, even for one filled with such energy.
It was a great day all around - a day that brought the most snow I've ever seen, cards, calls and emails from all around and closed out with an amazing A Capella chorus of friends on the phone. I went to bed with a cold nose and a warm heart.

Happy Birthday. Lucky you to get snow, we're just getting wet miserable rain.

What a wonderful way to spend your birthday.
I love it when the snow piles up like this and it stays cold, then we can enjoy it, but the roads are clear.

Happy Birthday!
There's nothing better than watching the snow fall while snuggled under a quilt and doing some hand work!

We,here on the Cape, didn't get as much snow as you did.But being a life long N Englander that's ok with me.

Happy Birthday Libby. I hope you
are having a wonderful day/night.
How many inches of snow did you get? Just cold and very humid here in TX. I'm a wimp when it comes to cold. Hope you have a wonderful
evening.

Happy Birthday, Libby! Bet you never had a birthday like this before! And you're far more gracious to the snowplows than I am. lol

I believe I'd like the snow a lot more if I could just stay inside and enjoy it from my sewing room.

I am envious of all the snow. Ours in Starkville, MS was just enough to cover the ground and make one wish for more.

Hope that you had a fantastic birthday- the snow continues to fall here- not as heavily as last week- less than an inch today but the snow piles keep getting higher.
Wishing you a year rich with good times. May all that you are wishing for be yours. With best wishes,
Anna
