Decking the halls - a job I was dreading when there was just a big pile of storage containers piled in the hallway. Now I have just a couple of quilts that need to find a nice place for display.
Several views from the stairs.

And a peek around a few corners.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
And to keep this blog at least sort of about quilting, an accountability update.

I have 52/97-
ish of the hexagons quilted. Translation: 52 diamonds are quilted, one complete side is finished and two other edges are partially done. I always seem to set my goals a little higher than I actually achieve. That's okay. I'm happy there is progress.

nagyon szép minden! zita
Beautiful progress on all fronts!
Love all your christmas quilts, wish I had large ones too, so I plan on making them now for next year. I figure I need about five for certain areas, lol. Love your hexagons, beautiful work on them.

Very inspiring! I still have some decorating to do & see that I need to make more Christmas quilts!
Looking Great!! Love your new place (well... maybe not so new anymore but still new enough! LOL!)
I like your display on the treadle sewing machine. I am always attracted to the vintage machines.
I love your house Libby! Can you come and help me decorate mine? I love your decor and your Christmas decorating! Your quilt is going to be beautiful when you're done, I can't wait to see it.
Your house looks lovely...so ready for Christmas! Mine, sadly, does not. Hope to start to remedy that this afternoon!
it really does look a lot like Christmas! Love the pine wreath on the door and I spy your Old St Nick quilt-I just loaded mine today. I can not wait to get it done and up. I stopped to make chili and then I'll get quilting!
Indeed....looks like Christmas and so welcoming!
Darling Decor...just amazing!!!! I spotted a wonderful Cheri quilt I think..love it!!! just love everything!!!!!
Your decorating is wonderful, and I especially love that you used so many quilts. You inspire me. Though I am a quilter, have yet to make any for myself for the Christmas season.
Su casa is looking very festive! Just luvluvluv the hexagons.
Cozy, inviting, and holidayish for sure!
Love the hexagon progress--nice to see that over half are complete.
Have you got time now to help me finish my decorating, Libby? Oh - and bring Daisy! Seriously, it looks wonderful! How nice that you're all settled into your home for the holidays! Maybe Santa will give you lots of time over the holidays to finish the hexagons! Oh - and since Hubby made a few of them, will he quilt a small portion, too?
Cheers!
You could write a how to decorate a home with prim treasures and quilts. Seriously...you should. :-D
Your home is looking lovely especially with all your wonderful quilts! The hexagon quilt is looking amazing!
Oh Libby how exciting for me to see your house at Christmas and two of my little quilt designs amidst the decor! Your house looks wonderful and festive! Merry Christmas my friend!
