Thank you to all that sent warm wishes and kept good thoughts for safe travel. Daisy and I have arrived safe and sound in California. We were greeted with a little bit of rain, sprinkles really, and today the sun shone brightly all day. Look at what we found on our walk at the beach today.
I do love those California poppies! The truck will be here tomorrow with our household goods. Lots of things to tend to in the coming days. I'll be back soon with lots of stories and probably some great photos, too.

Things are about to shift into high gear here. Lots of details to attend to before pointing myself westward. So I leave you with this - no way to say it any better.
