My mom makes an amzing German Chocolate Cake too - from scratch. She makes it for my Dad's birthday every year...maybe I should request it on my day too!?
I haven't had that in ages. Homemade is always the best. I used to make good cakes, but I can't eat them now, so I won't make something I can't eat;)Debbie

My mother has made a homemade german chocolate cake with a carmel icing that was totally decadent.It was like a brown sugar fudge on the cake.. She made it for my 16th birthday- that was a long time ago now LOL Regards,Anna
