K is for
Kindle.

Kindle has opened up a whole new reading world for me or perhaps I should say Kindle has re-opened the reading world to me. Yeah for this electronic wonder with its easily enlarged font! Now I can read anytime, anywhere . . . . even if I don't have my glasses with me!

I've had my Kindle for a year now and I adore it.
I feel exactly the same as you in regard to my Nook. Yep, ditto. Life is GOOD.
I had a 2nd generation and it stopped working correctly, so I just upgrated to a Kindle Fire and I LOVE it. Isn't it fun to be able to get a book whenever you feel like it?
I have had mine for 3 years and just love it. I agree, I read more now.
Bill got me an iPad for Christmas, so I can read with that. I use the library type book reader, seems to have a nicer font than the kindle for iPad.

Pretty cool! Enjoy :-)
a larger print is definitely a good idea. I need that more day after day.
I love my Kindle. Did you know you can get notices from various blogs about free books? and who doesn't like free? Go here:

The 2nd one sometimes has questionable books.
You'll love it. I have my Kindle nearly a year and it is one of the best gadgets I own. The only thing I miss is that I can't add the book to my bookcase. I now only have a virtual bookcase :)
I have Kindle on my ipad and love it. I've been downloading books from my public library which is awesome!
I got a Kindle last Tuesday for my birthday. I love it. I just wish I could get motivated to read. I've been quilting and working jigsaw puzzles instead. But I'm sure I'll enjoy that Kindle when we travel.
Absolutely LOVE my DX! I decided to take the plunge when I was busy packing all our books. Ugh! Best money I've spent in a long time!

I love my kindle, hadn't read for years, quliting took up my time, but with the Kindle, I pack it everywhere and have read about 9 - 10 books in the past few months.
I thought I'd miss the feel of a book, but now a book feels awkward.
OMG. That's the exact same Kindle the kiddies gave me for Christmas this year! I'm tellin' ya .... Okay, not the exact same one. Mine is in SC and yours is in SoCal but you know what I mean!
I love my Kindle. It goes everywhere with me! Love it!!!!!!!
I totally agree! What will they think of next?
I have been reading on my Kindle for a long time now and just love the larger font feature. Do you visit "Quiltville" to see Bonnie's "Free Kindle books" reviews...lotsa fun....Julierose
I have tried reading on the Ipad and miss the feel of a regular book, so still check them out from the library. Glad you are enjoying the Kindle! Just finished reading the Peach Keeper. It was so good.
Large font, no glasses?? Sign me up, Libby!
Cheers!
I've had a Kindle for awhile and loved it - got a Kindle Fire yesterday for my birthday! Awesome....so many things to learn!
I'm right there with you sister...I got the same Kindle two years ago and it renewed my love of reading.
My DIL Dani chuckles at me when we compare fonts. They gave me a Kindle Fire for Christmas and it's such fun. I can even watch movies and tv programs on it. Like having a mini i-pad. I guess they have finally dragged me into the new century..ha!
I got a Barnes & Noble Nook for Christmas & love it. I still like the feel of a print book tho. I also listen to audio books when I sew. Guess I'm just a reading machine!!!!!
I love my new kindle fire but use it to read blogs more than books. I love playing videos from PBS & Netflix when away from home. I use it like a mini laptop.
I've had mine for almost a year and I LOVE it! On Facebook is an app called ENT--E-Newsreader Today, and every day they list about 10-15 books that are free. Some are children's books, cookbooks, thrillers, romances, self-help, memoirs, etc. I don't always like all the books, but if I really can't stand it, I just delete it. No money lost, no space on the bookshelf wasted.
I still buy my hardback Stephen Kings, but it's so nice to have over 600 books and short stories in my purse!
LOVE the Kindle :-)!
