U is for Ugg boots.
I know, I know, the calendar says that it is the first day of spring. But here in the west we are having a bit of a cold snap to close out the winter that wasn't really like winter at all. Love those boots, they keep my tootsies so warm and toasty. And if wearing boots is too much, I have Ugg slippers for inside the house.
After the finish last week, I am ready to start something new.
Just a little peek at what's out waiting to be ironed, cut up and run through the machine. At the ready for a little handwork is this -
It's never to early to work on a new Christmas project - if I want it done in time for Christmas that is.

Uggs in San Diego... I've got nothing else, just stating the obvious with my mouth wide open in shock.

Hiya, I like what you are starting , is it santa in the photobooth by any chance ? There is a quilt that looks that the one shown here and it is santa and rudolph in a photobooth making silly faces in each block LOL!

Your part of the country was the only part actually having winter yesterday ... the rest of the country had moved on to spring, maybe even summer.

I love the Santas!

I assume that you have an Accu-Quilt? I would love to have one since cutting is least favorite part of quilting (even with a rotary cutter and strip piecing). Please share your advice, if you wouldn't mind, as I'm thinking maybe I should ask "Santa" for one this Christmas. ??

"U" is a different topic. I guess it could have been "Underwear". LOL!

I like the looks of the Christmas project you are going to be stitching on. Reminds me that I have a wool project prepped for stitching and I need to get busy on it.

Wow, quilting a Christmas runner-you go girl! I heard you all were having a lot of rain and cooler temps. Here in Colorado we have sunshine but a cool breeze and fresh snow on the mountains. I love the quilt you showed in the last post.
Have a great afternoon.

You make me laugh, cannot imagine it being cold there, lol. We are going up to the 80's this week, loving it. I need to make a fabric run, didn't realize that I didn't have any good cream background fabrics.

The world must be coming to an end. It's cold and snowing in CA and it's 85 degrees in NH! My husband and I went to our lake house today and it certainly seemed like summer to me.

Wow! Must be real cold if you are pulling on the Uggs. Nice and cozy for those bare tootsies. :-D

Ha, my boss was wearing her Uggs at work today, and apologising, but it was the warm and toasty feel she was going for! Can't wait to see your new project - looks like another winner!

We finished up The Winter That Wasn't, and hoping not to have a late snow. With all the rain here, I'm thinking of getting some garden boots. My old gardening tennis shoes will be a wet mess in no time, otherwise. I bought snow boots last winter and have yet to use them!
