W is for Weeds.
Which I am hopeful I will not have in abundance.
Instead I hope for more of these -
which will make a lovely bouquet on the table for our Easter brunch.
On the quilting front, I have been making sure to find time for some sewing every day.
This little ditty came from the scraps left over from my last quilted share. Just proves that there is practically nothing too small to be made into a quilt. Viva scraps!

Yucky weeds...hate 'em! They are the enemy of gardeners! I hope I can stay ahead of them this year.
I have my scraps ready to make a copycat mini...not sure if it will work out or not. Will let you know how I make out.

Sure can't avoid those little buggers this time of year! To bad they're not all edible! Gorgeous rose, Libby - do you know the name?
What a sweet little quilt - is that Daisy's new mug rug?
Cheers!

I am an expert at growing weeds. Just in case you need any advice. LOL! But don't ask me about growing flowers. I will never be a good gardener.

UGH! Hate weeds and we're having a bumper crop year for them (early warm and wet Spring). The roses are beautiful; I could almost smell their heady fragrance. We have too many deer passing through our yard to try roses but it's fun to look at pictures of them! Enjoy the fruits of your labor!

Ugh, weeds are far too prevalent around here (I am NOT a gardener, I am a quilter!) Wish I could rent a goat sometimes!

Cute micromini!

Sure have plenty of them growing! A little warm weather and they just pop up and thumb their nose at me. Just you wait- nasty weeds, I'll be after you soon!

Now as for that little project of yours- outstanding!!
I'm off soon to go paw thru my scrap basket(s) and jump on the plain and simple bandwagon :-)
Happy Wednesday

Your roses are beautiful and will look great on your Easter table. I can't bear to throw away scraps either - love your little finish. I'm looking for a pattern for a string star quilt to use some of them up this year...
