Today on the design floor -
The layout for the latest installment of the Fat Quarter Project.  Some how in my travels, I have managed to misplace/lose four blocks.  *sigh*  Time to make some replacements and get the top stitched together.

Love the key to your stash ;-) Such a great cupboard.
Nice quilt - the blocks when turn up AFTER you re-make them- - at least it happens that way in my sewing room...

this made me smile ah I think that has happened to all of us and as soon as you make the "new" blocks the old ones will show up !

This coloring is a bit of a departure for you isn't it? ♥ it. Blue is my favorite color.

Hee - at first I was wondering how you made your blocks stick to the wall, then realized it was the floor! I do hope you find the stray ones - such a fun quilt!
Cheers!

Love the key to your stash! Maybe wait a bit to see if the errant blocks show up. I waited two weeks for a red square of fabric to show up recently, and lo and behold, there it was on the floor by my bedroom. I'm thinking it attached to a piece of clothing and may have gone through the wash? It was awesome to find it though. Sorry, TMI!!! :)

that is so beautiful and must have taken forever. How upsetting to have lost those blocks just as the end is in sight. I think those who do quilting are special people. I would have to attention to detail that you must need to get it just right!! Joan

Larkin liked them so much she's stored them away.

That's my theory, anyway :)

Looking beautiful!

and of course according to that age old law of Sod - the minute you've finished re-making those blocks the originals will pop out from wherever they're hiding dancing and shouting 'Na na na na naaaa!!!!' just to wind you up big time

I love the layout for your quilt. Don't you just hate it when you lose blocks? You know you'll find them...just as soon as you make new ones, that is!
