Monday again.  The laundry hamper over-floweth, again, but the weekend that was was a good one.  We met some new people while out on a walk.
Being children of the 70's, Hubby and I got out the Frisbee for a little backyard fun.  Larkin was intrigued.
She didn't quite work out how to catch it in flight, but she did manage to pick it up and bring it back.
Once the lure of snacks were added to the equation.
It wasn't all fun in the sun.  Quality time with my sewing machine lead to finishing Churn Dashes, #5 in the Fat Quarter Project.
I wonder what our dear Fearless Leader has in mind for project #6?

Ha, ha, your new friends remind me of the mannequins who hold the signs on the street corners. I have been a little surprised more than once by them, and it cracks my husband up when I say something like how pale that one looks... Your new quilt looks wonderful! I have high hopes for Larkin that the Frisbee gene will kick in.

Nice friends, help out with Larkin and quiet;)
My guy loved frisbee but he overdid it and would keep falling on his hips so we gave that idea up, lol.

The dog leash holders are too funny! Larkin looks pretty happy there. I'm sure she will get the hang of the Frisbee. Back in the 70's some neighbors in my college town of Chico, took a pic of my dog catching the Frisbee mid air. I will have to go pull that picture out. He was such a sweet dog.
Good work on the churn dash. It makes for a sweet quilt.

We have two parks in the area that have Frisbee golf. Looks like fun but I know my back can't handle it. My husband played and liked it but he ended up having physical therapy for shoulder pain and not being able to play regular golf for a while. He says no more Frisbee golf.
