The time is: NOW!

In the last year, I have been asking myself, "If not now, when?" Our life here is fleeting, so it is a good question to ask. Since I was a girl, I thought it would be fun to be 'the house' that passes out full-sized candy bars to trick-or-treaters. Happy Halloween everyone. Only take treats, no tricks.

I bet the kids loved you tonight, lol.
No one came here, the kids are all grown and we live off a road, so with the rain, not one kid.

That's great! It would never work at my house. I had over 200 trick-or-treaters.

My kids have never forgotten our neighbor who used to do that! Hope it was memorable for you too :)

Ah, you were the cool house this year! We bought way too much candy so the kids all got two big handfuls of treats. Not the same on the coolness scale, but they were happy!

As a child, I remember the house that gave out full size candy bars and a hot dog. What a treat.

I bet they were sending their friends. We were the lame house that ran out of candy. Had to switch to granola bars!

I still remember the old couple who gave out full-sized chocolate bars that they had kept gently warmed in the oven.
