Christmas Baking

Cookies just taste better when I use Mom's utensils (measuring spoons and cookie sheets) Makes it feel like she's in the kitchen with me.

I miss making cookies, but if I can't eat it, I sure don't want to cook and smell them, lol.

Thats sweet Libby, I feel the same way using family items. I purchased the making for the Chex Mix today, my MIL always made it and I thought it would make her feel closer to have some of her treats since all of us will be together this year.
Hugs, Carrie

Funny - our girls came over to bake cookies today. I made the dough last night and they did the rolling, baking, and decorating today. I got to sit and chat and knit. It was great fun.

Totally agree - what nice memories you have! Attempting to make part of the cookie dough in a gluten free version for one of our guests - won't know if its working out until we bake them!

Merry Christmas to you and your family, and hoping for a great 2014 ahead! Dixie
