Decking the halls

I am SO thrilled to be putting up Christmas decorations.  Circumstances last year made it that we only pulled out a couple of holiday quilts that happened to be handy. Going through the boxes of decorations is like visiting with old friends.  This tree is in our bedroom. All of the ornaments are animals including special ones that represent each of our pets. Hoping to find the tree topper in the next box. Fa la la la la la la la!

That is a cute theme. Bill threw our trees away, still trying to figure that one out, lol. One was frosted but I told him we could have used it outside with just lights.

I totally understand--some years life just got in the way of Christmas and decorating. I agree Christmas decorations are like the return of a special friend

A tree in your bedroom. A real Christmas enthusiast. I have not been in a mood to get the tree out of the garage just yet. I think it is still decorated from last holiday season! (Not a giant tree for sure).

Great idea for a tree ... I have ornaments for each of the pets we've had and it would be great to see them around us this season! Your room looks "cozy" with that tree in it!

your tree is very pretty. I used to have moose and birds as a theme for mine. bird nests and eggs in a tree was supposed to be good luck for the coming year.

Cute! I love decorating for Christmas but don't usually extend it beyond the main living areas--three rooms, a stairwell, a bathroom and the outdoors is enough!
